AREAS AFFECTED...PARTS OF CENTRAL AND ERN MS/NRN AND CENTRAL AL

CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 465...

VALID 302339Z - 010015Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 465
CONTINUES.

ISOLATED THREAT FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS PRODUCED BY WET MICROBURSTS
WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE FOR ANOTHER 1-2 HOURS. HOWEVER...GIVEN THE
WEAKLY SHEARED ENVIRONMENT...THESE DIURNALLY-DRIVEN TSTMS WILL BEGIN
TO DECREASE IN COVERAGE/INTENSITY WITH THE LOSS OF DAY TIME HEATING.
THUS...A NEW WW IS NOT WARRANTED. A FEW STRONGER STORMS
WILL...HOWEVER...BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 01-02Z...SINCE THE AIR MASS
REMAINS MODERATELY UNSTABLE AT THIS TIME. GIVEN THE POTENTIAL FOR
SOME SEVERE THREAT TO CONTINUE BEYOND 00Z...WW 465 COULD BE LOCALLY
EXTENDED IN TIME.
