SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COVERED MUCH OF THE
NORTHERN HALF OF THE MID STATE AT 530 PM. MOVEMENT IS TO THE EAST
AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THROUGH 700 PM...LOOK FOR THE NORTHERN PLATEAU...AND
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE REGION TO BE THE MAIN TARGETS. WIND GUSTS
TO 40 MPH AND SOME SMALL HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER
STORMS. ADDITIONALLY...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE REDUCED
VISIBILITIES AND THE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. MOTORISTS SHOULD
DRIVE WITH CAUTION.
