CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH NEEDED SOON

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE BECOMING FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE STORMS
AND A WATCH ISSUANCE MAY BE COORDINATED BETWEEN THE SPC AND THE
AFFECTED LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICES SHORTLY.

ALTHOUGH A WEAK WARM LAYER WAS INDICATED AROUND 700 MB ON THE LIT
SOUNDING...THE ENVIRONMENT WAS VIRTUALLY UNCAPPED WITH MLCAPE VALUES
OVER 2000 J/KG. THIS INSTABILITY WILL INCREASE WITH ADDITIONAL
HEATING AND DEEP LAYER SHEAR AT 30-35 KT WILL SUPPORT A THREAT FOR
WIND DAMAGE AS THE LINE OF STORMS...ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLD FRONT
IN NWRN AR...SHIFTS SEWD INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SOME HAIL IS
POSSIBLE...THOUGH THE WARM TEMPERATURES ALOFT SHOULD LIMIT THE HAIL
SIZE TO MOSTLY 3/4 TO 1 INCH.
