THE MONTH AVERAGED 77.9 DEGREES AT THE AIRPORT...WHICH IS 2.8
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 95 DEGREES ON THE
17TH AND THE COLDEST WAS 59 DEGREES ON THE TWENTY-FIRST. THE TOTAL
RAINFALL WAS 2.37 INCHES...WHICH IS 1.71 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THIS
MAKES IT THE 8TH MONTH IN A ROW WITH BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION.

THE BIG STORY DURING THE MONTH WAS THE PROTRACTED PERIOD OF DRY
WEATHER WITH EXTREME DROUGHT CONDITIONS AFFECTING MANY AREAS. THE
LAST WEEK OF THE MONTH DID PRODUCE SOME BENEFICIAL RAINS...HOWEVER.
THERE WERE A FEW DAYS WITH ISOLATED SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS...WITH
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ON THE TWENTY-THIRD.

CROSSVILLE AVERAGED 72.3 DEGREES FOR THE MONTH...WHICH IS 1.9 DEGREES
ABOVE NORMAL. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 88 DEGREES ON THE 17TH AND
TWENTY-THIRD...WHILE THE COLDEST WAS 53 ON THE TWENTY-FIRST. TOTAL
RAINFALL WAS 2.43 INCHES ...WHICH IS 2.30 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.

CLARKSVILLE AVERAGED 75 DEGREES FOR THE MONTH AND TABULATED 6.72
INCHES OF RAINFALL. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 93 DEGREES ON THE
TWENTY-THIRD...WHILE THE COLDEST WAS 55 DEGREES ON THE TWENTY-FIRST..
