THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

       CENTRAL AND NORTHERN ALABAMA
       NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
       MUCH OF MISSISSIPPI
       A SMALL PART OF SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING FROM 755 PM
UNTIL 300 AM CST.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 100 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 30 MILES NORTH OF HUNTSVILLE
ALABAMA TO 45 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF PINE BELT MISSISSIPPI.  FOR

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR

AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.

INDIVIDUAL STORMS MOVE NE AT 40-50 KTS BENEATH 70+ KT MID LEVEL SWLY
JET.  BEST CHANCE FOR SEMI-DISCRETE ACTIVITY WITH ASSOCIATED TORNADO
POTENTIAL IN THE NEXT 3-4 HRS SHOULD BE OVER SW/CNTRL MS...WHERE
GREATEST BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE IS PRESENT ON SRN END OF LINE.  NRN
PART OF SQLN MAY TRANSITION INTO MORE OF A FORCED ASCENT STRUCTURE
IN THE NEXT FEW HRS...WHERE EMBEDDED LEWPS MAY YIELD HIGH WIND AND
ISOLATED SPIN-UP TORNADOES.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
