MIDDLE TENNESSEE WILL SEE STRONG WINDS AND THE POTENTIAL FOR
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEKEND.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO
THE MIDWEST AND OHIO VALLEY SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. WINDS WILL
BECOME STRONG SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...SOMETIMES
REACHING 25 TO 30 MPH...WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH OR HIGHER. IN
ADDITION...ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY
NIGHT...WHICH MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS.

SINCE SURFACE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE STRONG...EVEN BEFORE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVE IN SATURDAY NIGHT...DO NOT BE SURPRISED
IF SOME TREE LIMBS AND SHALLOW ROOTED TREES BLOW DOWN BEFORE
THUNDERSTORMS ARRIVE.

A WIND ADVISORY MAY BE ISSUED EITHER TONIGHT OR SATURDAY...AND
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCHES AND WARNINGS MAY BE ISSUED AS WELL.

DRIVERS OF HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD BE PREPARED TO BATTLE
STRONG WINDS AND BE CAREFUL WHEN TRAVELING ALONG ROADS WHERE
CROSS WINDS ARE ENCOUNTERED.
