...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A RIVER FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE BUFFALO RIVER...


AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN TENNESSEE: PERRY.
BUFFALO RIVER NEAR LOBELVILLE...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         10.0 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        5.9 FEET AND RISING AT 2 PM SATURDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING.


AT THESE LEVELS...LOW LYING AREAS AND AGRICULTURAL BOTTOMLAND WILL FLOOD. THIS
CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 10.7 FEET WHICH OCCURRED MAY 5 2002.


IF POSSIBLE...AVOID THE RIVER. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS AND
REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. IF YOU APPROACH A WATER
COVERED ROAD, TURN AROUND...DON'T DROWN.
