.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE
THROUGH TONIGHT. SOME HEAVY DOWNPOURS MAY DEVELOP TOWARD DAYBREAK
SATURDAY...BUT NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD ACROSS ALL OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON
SATURDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY FOR
AREAS EAST OF I 65...INCLUDING THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. THE MAIN
THREAT FROM SEVERE STORMS SHOULD STAY SOUTH OF TENNESSEE...BUT A FEW
STRONG STORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT NEAR THE ALABAMA BORDER.

SPOTTERS MAY BE NEEDED FOR HEAVY RAINFALL REPORTS ON SATURDAY.
