...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

AT 930 AM CDT...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WERE
CONFINED MOSTLY TO THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL PARTS OF THE
MID STATE. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH. THE SOLID BAND OF
PRECIPITATION THAT AFFECTED THE AREA EARLIER HAD MOSTLY MOVED
EAST INTO THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AREA. EVEN THOUGH MOST AREAS ARE
NOW RAIN FREE... THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS
AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS INTO AT LEAST THE MID AFTERNOON HOURS...AS
A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.

THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM CELINA TO SPARTA TO SHELBYVILLE AND
PULASKI. THE BAND OF PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.
THROUGH 1130 AM...YOU CAN EXPECT SOME BRIEF BUT HEAVY DOWNPOURS AT
SUCH LOCATIONS AS LIVINGSTON...SPARTA...CROSSVILLE...MCMINNVILLE
...AND MANCHESTER. MOTORISTS SHOULD WATCH OUT FOR PONDING OF WATER
ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE AS HIGH AS ONE
INCH AT SOME LOCATIONS.
