THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN DE KALB COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SMITHVILLE

* UNTIL 615 PM CDT

* AT 536 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL...AND
  DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 9
  MILES SOUTH OF SMITHVILLE...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE ACROSS RURAL SOUTHEASTERN DEKALB
  COUNTY THROUGH 615 PM CDT.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
