SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA
AND ARE INCREASING IN COVERAGE. ACTIVITY IS MOVING TOWARD
THE NORTHEAST AT 35 TO 40 MPH. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY HAVE STRONG
WINDS AND HAIL. A LINE OF NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS IS MOVING INTO
NORTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THIS LINE IS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT
35 TO 40 MPH.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE EASTWARD THROUGH THE AREA DURING
THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THIS ACTIVITY IS JUST AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT THAT IS MOVING EASTWARD TOWARD THE MIDSTATE. SOME OF THE
STORMS WILL LIKELY BE SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL PLUS THE
POSSIBILITY OF TORNADOES. THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR THIS ACTIVITY IS
MID AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE EVENING.
