THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

       NORTHERN ARKANSAS
       SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY
       SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
       WEST AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY MORNING FROM 100 AM UNTIL 900 AM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 40 STATUTE
MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES SOUTH OF HARRISON
ARKANSAS TO 15 MILES NORTH OF LONDON KENTUCKY. FOR A COMPLETE

EXPECTED TO REMAIN MORE OR LESS STATIONARY THROUGH LATER THIS
MORNING.  ENVIRONMENT OF STRONG LOW TO MID LEVEL SHEAR WITH HIGH
BOUNDARY LAYER DEWPOINTS WILL PERSIST AND MAY SUPPORT EMBEDDED
ROTATING STORMS WITH ISOLATED TORNADOES.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1 INCH. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
