.COLD DRY AIR CONTINUES TO POUR INTO THE MIDSTATE FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
THE CLOUD COVER OVER THE AREA WILL SLOWLY DISSIPATE THIS EVENING
AND ALLOW RADIATIONAL COOLING TO DROP TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID
30S FOR MOST OF THE AREA. WITH DEWPOINTS WELL BELOW FREEZING...AREAS
OF FROST ARE EXPECTED OVER MAINLY RURAL AND SUBURBAN AREAS OF THE MIDSTATE.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A FROST
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 AM CDT FRIDAY.

AS CLOUDINESS THINS OUT OVER THE MIDSTATE THIS EVENING...RADIATIONAL
COOLING WILL BEGIN TO DROP TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID 30S. THIS
WILL MAINLY AFFECT RURAL AND OUTLYING SURBURBAN AREAS...PARTICULARLY
THOSE AREAS IN RIVER VALLEYS AND OTHER LOW AREAS WHERE COLD AIR
TENDS TO POOL. THIS WILL FORM A LAYER OF FROST ON PLANTS AND OTHER
VEGETATION BY LATE TONIGHT.

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
