AT 520 AM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE NEAR
CLARKSVILLE...SPRINGFIELD AND PORTLAND. THESE STORMS WERE
PRODUCING HEAVY DOWNPOURS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND WINDS OVER
30 MPH. MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS WAS EAST SOUTHEAST NEAR 50 MPH. THESE
STORMS WILL APPROACH CARTHAGE...COOKEVILLE AND LIVINGSTON BEFORE 700
AM. MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA THROUGH THE
MORNING...MAINLY AFFECTING LOCATIONS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40.
A FEW STORMS WILL PRODUCE WINDS OVER 30 MPH...HEAVY DOWNPOURS
AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
