...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT
FOR LAWRENCE AND LEWIS COUNTIES...

AT 1148 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN LAWRENCE AND LEWIS COUNTIES. ONE
SEVERE STORM WAS LOCATED JUST NORTHWEST OF LAWRENCEBURG...AND ANOTHER
WAS LOCATED 2 MILES EAST OF HOHENWALD. BOTH OF THE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PASS...
  OVER EASTERN SECTIONS OF LEWIS AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES BETWEEN NOW AND 1215 PM

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE ABOUT 7 MILES SOUTH
OF HOHENWALD...AND IN LAWRENCEBURG...WHERE TREES WERE REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN
BLOWN DOWN. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK SHELTER NOW INSIDE A
STURDY STRUCTURE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS!
