...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...

AT 1035 PM...A BAND OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS APPROACHING WESTERN
SUMNER COUNTY. THIS GUST FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REST OF
SUMNER...AND INTO MACON AND TROUSDALE COUNTIES BY 11:15 PM. WIND
GUSTS MAY REACH 40 TO 50 MPH. THIS WILL CAUSE SHALLOW ROOTED TREES
TO BE BLOWN DOWN ALONG WITH SOME POWER LINES.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS WILL OCCUR IN THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

ALSO...SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD REACH SEVERE LIMITS WITH
WIND GUSTS SURPASSING THE 58 MPH LEVEL. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER
WEATHER UPDATES.
