...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE HARPETH RIVER...

AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: CHEATHAM...DAVIDSON...WILLIAMSON.
HARPETH RIVER NEAR KINGSTON SPRINGS...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         15 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        17.2 FEET AND FALLING AT 11 AM.
*   RIVER FORECAST:      FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE OVERNIGHT.

AT THESE LEVELS...FLOOD WATERS OVERFLOW THE LEFT BANK OF THE RIVER AND
APPROACH PINNACLE HILL ROAD, AND E. KINGSTON SPRINGS ROAD. SEVERAL SECONDARY
ROADS NEAR THE RIVER BECOME IMPASSIBLE.

HARPETH RIVER AT FRANKLIN...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         21 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        21.5 FEET AND RISING AT 11 AM MONDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:      THE RIVER IS NEAR CREST AND WILL BEGIN TO FALL.
                         WATER LEVELS SHOULD DROP BELOW FLOOD STAGE LATER THIS
                         AFTERNOON.

AT THESE LEVELS...FLOOD WATERS REACH HIGHWAY 431 (LEWISBURG PIKE) IN FRANKLIN.

PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE HARPETH RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR WATER LEVELS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATER.
IF YOU APPROACH A WATER COVERED ROAD, TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN.
