SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION OCCURRED ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND
HIGHLAND RIM LAST NIGHT...AND SOME AREAS ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
MAY SEE ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF A HALF INCH OR SO TODAY. THE
ACCUMULATION IS PRIMARILY ON GRASSY AREAS...ALTHOUGH SLICK SPOTS
WILL LIKELY OCCUR ON UNTREATED ROADWAYS...AND WHERE TEMPERATURES
REMAIN BELOW THE FREEZING MARK.

HERE ARE THE COUNTY SNOW DEPTH TOTALS...IN LOCATIONS WHERE SNOW
WAS STILL ON THE GROUND AT 700 AM THIS MORNING...

CUMBERLAND...ONE TO TWO INCHES.
FENTRESS...ONE TO TWO INCHES.
PUTNAM...ONE TO TWO INCHES.
DEKALB...ONE TO TWO INCHES.
MACON...ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES.
PICKETT...ONE INCH.
WHITE...ONE INCH.
OVERTON...ONE HALF INCH.
GRUNDY...LESS THAN 1 INCH.
WARREN...LESS THAN 1 INCH.
VAN BUREN...LESS THAN 1 INCH.
CLAY...ONE HALF INCH
SUMNER...NEAR ONE HALF INCH
SMITH...LESS THAN ONE HALF INCH

SNOW BRIEFLY ACCUMULATED A FEW TENTHS OF AN INCH LAST NIGHT IN
AREAS WEST OF A LINE FROM PORTLAND...TO WHITE HOUSE...TO
CARTHAGE...TO WOODBURY...AND MONTEAGLE. THIS INCLUDES AREAS AROUND
NASHVILLE...MURFREESBORO AND MANCHESTER. HOWEVER...SINCE THE GROUND
WAS WARM AND THE TEMPERATURES WERE NOT QUITE COLD ENOUGH...ONLY
TRACE AMOUNTS REMAINED IN MOST OF THOSE AREAS AT 700 AM THIS
