AT 2 PM...CLOUDY AND COLD CONDITIONS CONTINUED ACROSS MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. TEMPERATURES WERE ONLY IN THE 20S AND A BRISK NORTHWEST
WIND BROUGHT WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES DOWN INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS.
SNOW HAD DIMINISHED IN INTENSITY AND COVERAGE ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. LIGHT SNOW CONTINUED OVER THE PLATEAU WHILE A MIXTURE OF
SNOW, SLEET, AND FREEZING RAIN WAS FALLING SOUTH OF A LINE FROM
LINDEN TO SHELBYVILLE TO MCMINNVILLE. THROUGH 4 PM...EXPECT LITTLE IF
ANY ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE, WEST
OF THE PLATEAU. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF SLEET AND SNOW WILL OCCUR
ON THE PLATEAU AND ACROSS THE SOUTH.

A SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU AREA AND A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY CONTINUES THROUGH 6
PM FOR SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

MOTORIST TRAVELING THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD
ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME.
