THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR FRIDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE MID
STATE. A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ALONG THE GULF COAST WILL
LIFT NORTHEAST BRINGING PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE REGION. MOSTLY SNOW
IS EXPECTED IN MID TENNESSEE...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR 2 TO 4 INCHES
MOST AREAS. EXACT TEMPERATURES AND SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL
DEPEND ON THE TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. THERE
ARE INDICATIONS THAT THE FAR SOUTHERN COUNTIES MAY BE TOO WARM FOR
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS.

THE MAIN STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE OUT OF THE AREA SATURDAY
MORNING...BUT UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES AND COLD AIR WILL BRING THE
POTENTIAL FOR LINGERING SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE
NORTHERN PLATEAU COULD HAVE SOME ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS FROM THESE
SNOW SHOWERS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WOULD APPRECIATE SPOTTER REPORTS OF
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL.
