1005 AM CST MON DEC 11 2006

...UPGRADE FOR LAWRENCEBURG NOAA WEATHER RADIO ON TUESDAY...

AN IMPROVED TRANSMITTER WILL BE INSTALLED TUESDAY FOR NOAA WEATHER
RADIO STATION AT LAWRENCEBURG...WWF 84...WHICH OPERATES ON A
FREQUENCY OF 162.425 MEGAHERTZ.  THE LAWRENCEBURG WEATHER RADIO
WILL BE OFF THE AIR FOR TWO TO FOUR HOURS BEGINNING AROUND 10 AM
CST TUESDAY.  THE UPGRADED TRANSMITTER SHOULD RETURN TO SERVICE BY
MID AFTERNOON.  ALTHOUGH THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS IN THE
AREA ON TUESDAY...THE UPGRADE WILL BE PERFORMED UNLESS A THREAT OF
SEVERE WEATHER BECOMES APPARENT BEFORE 10 AM TUESDAY.

WEATHER RADIO LISTENERS IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF THE MID STATE MAY
TUNE INTO TWO OTHER WEATHER RADIO STATIONS DURING THE TEMPORARY
OUTAGE ON TUESDAY.  DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION...YOU MAY RECEIVE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INFORMATION ON STATIONS BASED AT
LOBELVILLE OR CENTERVILLE...WHICH OPERATE ON 162.525 AND 162.450
RESPECTIVELY.
