...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CDT
FOR DAVIDSON COUNTY...

AT 705 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL
SIZE HAIL. THIS CLUSTER OF STORMS WAS LOCATED FROM NEAR BELLE MEADE...OR
ABOUT 6 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE TO THE HERMITAGE AREA. THIS
CLUSTER OF STORMS WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. SOME PROPAGATION WITHIN
THIS CLUSTER OF STORMS WAS TAKING PLACE.

THE CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN
DAVIDSON COUNTY THROUGH 730 AM CDT...INCLUDING THE DOWNTOWN AREA...NASHVILLE
AIRPORT AND THE DONELSON AREA...ALONG WITH BELLE MEADE.

IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS
IMMEDIATELY! LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS.
REMEMBER...IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE
STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
