            F0 TORNADO HIT NORTHERN BENTON COUNTY FROM 4.7 MILES
            SOUTHWEST OF BIG SANDY TO 4.2 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST BIG
            SANDY WITH A PATH LENGTH OF 1.1 MILES AND PATH WIDTH OF
            10 MILES. SOME SHINGLES WERE TORN OFF ROOFS IN THE CEDAR
            LAKES ESTATE SUBDIVISION. TREES WERE SNAPPED AND
            UPROOTED.

            F0 TORNADO DAMAGED AN OUTBUILDING AND UPROOTED SOME
            TREES.

            AERIAL SURVEY HAS DETERMINED THAT THIS TORNADO TOUCHED
            DOWN ON MAPLE VALLEY ROAD IN NORTHERN DICKSON COUNTY AS
            F2, WHERE MOBILE HOMES WERE DEMOLISHED, CONTINUED ONTO
            BELLSBURG AS F3, AND DEMOLISHED A ONE STORY BRICK
            BUILDING. THE TORNADO CONTINUED INTO CHEATHAM COUNTY
            PRODUCING F0 DAMAGE IN GREENBRIER AND F1 DAMAGE IN
            ASHLAND CITY. TOTAL PATH LENGTH WAS 11.3 MILES, WITH A
            PATH WIDTH OF 1/2 MILE IN DICKSON COUNTY AND 100 YARDS IN
            CHEATHAM COUNTY. THE TORNADO ENDED AT 140 PM IN ASHLAND
            CITY.

            F2 TORNADO STRUCK FROM 153 TO 200 PM IN SOUTHERN BENTON
            COUNTY FROM 12.2 SSW CAMDEN TO 12.1 SSE CAMDEN, WITH A
            PATH LENGTH OF 6 MILES AND PATH WIDTH OF 50 YDS. DAMAGE
            INCLUDED A HOME ON CONLEY ROAD THAT LOST ITS ENTIRE ROOF.
            NUMEROUS LARGE TREES WERE SNAPPED OR UPROOTED.

            F1 TORNADO FROM 7.9 MILES WSW OF HURRICANE MILLS TO 3.5
            SW HURRICANE MILLS, WITH PATH LENGTH 4.5 MILES AND PATH
            WDITH OF 50 YARDS, FROM 205 PM TO 212 PM. NUMEROUS LARGE
            TREES WERE SNAPPED AND UPROOTED. A MOBILE HOME WAS
            DEMOLISHED AND A BRICK HOME WAS 40 PERCENT DESTROYED.
            ANOTHER MOBILE HOME WAS PUSHED OFF ITS FOUNDATION.

            *** 10 INJ *** F3 TORNADO HIT GOODLETTSVILE DESTROYING
            MANY RESIDENTIAL HOMES. SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE METRO
            BAPTIST CHURCH WITH PART OF THE ROOF BLOWN OFF AND FRONT
            OF CHURCH BLOWN AWAY. PATH WIDTH OF 1/2 MILE WIDE, AND
            PATH LENGTH IN DAVIDSON COUNTY OF 3.7 MILES IN DAVIDSON
            COUNTY. THIS TORNADO CONTINUED INTO SUMNER COUNTY AND HAD
            A TOTAL PATH LENGTH OF 23.2 MILES IN DAVIDSON AND SUMNER
            COUNTIES.

04/07/2006  F3               SUMNER             TN   NWS STORM SURVEY

            *** 8 FATAL, 121 INJ *** F3 TORNADO DAMAGE IN GALLATIN
            WITH 8 FATALITIES. 700 HOMES AND BUSINESSES DESTROYED.
            TORNADO IN SUMNER COUNTY ENDED 5 MILES EAST OF GALLATIN.
            TORNADO ENTERED SUMNER COUNTY AT HENDERSONVILLE AROUND
            212 PM, REACHED GALLATIN AT 225 PM, DISSIPATED AT 232 PM.
            PATH LENGTH OF TORNADO IN SUMNER COUNTY WAS 19.5 MILES
            WITH PATH WIDTH OF 200 YDS. THIS TORNADO HAD A PATH

            LENGTH OF 23.2 MILES ACROSS DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES.

            *** 2 FATAL, 15 INJ *** F1 TORNADO KILLED 2 PEOPLE IN A
            MOBILE HOME ON FOSTER RD. SHINGLES WERE TORN OFF ROOFS.
            LARGE TREES WERE UPROOTED, SNAPPED AND BLOWN DOWN.THE
            TORNADO OCCURRED FROM 14.6 MILES NW OF MCMINNVILLE TO
            10.6 NNE MCMINNVILLE WITH A PATH LENGTH OF 11 MILES AND
            PATH WIDTH OF 150 YDS. TIME ON GROUND WAS FROM 445 PM TO
            500 PM CDT.

            *** 1 FATAL *** F1 TORNADO STRUCK FROM 10.3 MILES SW
            MCMINNVILLE TO 7.8 SW MCMINNVILLE WITH A PATH LENGTH OF 4
            MILES AND PATH WIDTH OF 100 YDS. ONE FATALITY OCCURRED IN
            A TRAILER AT BONNER RD. THERE WAS ROOF DAMAGE TO HOMES
            AND OUTBUILDINGS WERE DESTROYED. NUMERLOUS LARGE TREES
            WERE UPROOTED, SNAPPED OR BLOWN DOWN. TORNADO ON THE
            GROUND FROM 628 PM TO 635 PM.

0546 PM     TORNADO          11 W CRAB ORCHARD       35.91N 85.08W

            *** 4 INJ *** F1 TORNADO FROM 3.8 SOUTHWEST CROSSVILLE TO
            2.5 EAST OF CROSSVILLE FROM 546 PM TO 551 PM. THE TORNADO
            DAMAGED A CONSIDERABLE NUMBER OF ROOFS ON HOMES. PATH
            LENGTH WAS 6.2 MILES AND PATH WIDTH OF 150 YARDS.
