THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTH MAURY COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  WILLIAMSON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF FRANKLIN

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 634 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL.  THIS
  STORM WAS LOCATED 24 MILES SOUTHWEST OF FRANKLIN...AND ABOUT 13
  MILES NORTHWEST OF COLUMBIA...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
  FRANKLIN AND 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BRENTWOOD BY 700 PM CDT

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
