AT 455 PM...RADAR SHOWED SHOWERS ACROSS MOST LOCATIONS EAST OF
INTERSTATE 65...AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WERE DETECTED ALONG THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. INDIVIDUAL CELLS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST AROUND 40 MPH...ALTHOUGH THE LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS WAS
MOVING SLOWLY EASTWARD. GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTINUE WITH THE SHOWERS...
OCCASIONALLY GUSTING OVER 40 MPH. THE SHOWERS WILL BE SWEPT EAST OF
THE AREA THIS EVENING AS A COLD FRONT CONTINUES TO CROSS MID
TENNESSEE. DRIER AND SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR WILL FOLLOW THE COLD FRONT
PASSAGE...AND WINDS WILL DIMINISH INTO THE 10 TO 20 MPH RANGE.
