...TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 869 REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CST...

THROUGH 500 PM...THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER PORTIONS
OF WEST AND SOUTH MIDDLE TENNESSEE WITH THE HEAVIEST STORMS ALONG THE
TENNESSEE RIVER. MOVEMENT IS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 TO 40 MILES AN
HOUR. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE. SURFACE WINDS WILL BE
OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH GUSTING UP TO 30 MILES AN HOUR.
THROUGH EARLY EVENING STORMS WILL INCREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY.
