THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  DE KALB COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SMITHVILLE
  PUTNAM COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF COOKEVILLE

* UNTIL 615 AM CST

* AT 535 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL...AND
  DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...APPROACHING THE WARNED COUNTIES
  FROM THE WEST.  THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LINE OF SEVERE STORMS WAS NEAR
  BAXTER...OR ABOUT 11 MILES WEST OF COOKEVILLE...AND MOVING EAST AT
  45 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
  COOKEVILLE BY 550 AM CST
  ALGOOD BY 555 AM CST
  MONTEREY BY 605 AM CST

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
