SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
408 AM CST SUN NOV 6 2005

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN DAVIDSON COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF NASHVILLE

* UNTIL 515 AM CST

* AT 401 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THIS LINE OF STORMS WAS LOCATED FROM SPRINGFIELD
  SOUTH INTO CHEATHAM COUNTY AND THEN SOUTHWEST TO NEAR DICKSON.
  THE LINE OF SEVERE STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. INDIVIDUAL STORMS
  WERE MOVING NORTHEAST...ALONG THE LINE...AT NEAR 60 MPH.

  A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS THE NORTH HALF OF DAVIDSON
  COUNTY UNTIL 5 AM CST.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
  DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE BY 435 AM CST

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.
