THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

       EXTREME NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
       MUCH OF INDIANA
       WESTERN AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY
       WESTERN OHIO
       WESTERN AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE
       LAKE ERIE

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY MORNING FROM 330 AM UNTIL 700 AM EST.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF TOLEDO OHIO TO
35 MILES EAST OF MEMPHIS TENNESSEE.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF

DISCUSSION...STRONG INCREASE IN DEEP SHEAR THAT HAS OCCURRED OVER
THE LWR OH VLY IN RESPONSE TO CONTINUED ENE MOTION OF 75 KT MID
LEVEL SPEED MAX NOW OVER SRN MO HAS RESULTED IN MORE DISCRETE STORM
MODE OVER WRN TN/ WRN KY AND SRN IND COMPARED TO EARLIER THIS
MORNING.  GIVEN EXPECTED CONTINUED STRENGTHENING OF LOW TO MID LEVEL
SHEAR AND QUASI-DISCRETE SUPERCELLULAR MODE...POTENTIAL MAY PERSIST
FOR TORNADOES IN ADDITION TO HIGH WIND/HAIL.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1.5 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO
