THIS EVENING...
RAINFALL FROM TROPICAL STORM DENNIS WILL C0NTINUE TO SPREAD
NORTHWARD ACROSS MIDDLE TN THROUGH 6 AM. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL
EFFECT AREAS GENERALLY TO THE WEST OF I-65. LOOK FOR HOURLY
RAINFALL RATES TO CONTINUE TO AVERAGE AROUND .25 INCHES.
ADDITIONALLY...LOOK FOR EASTERLY WINDS TO BEGIN TO INCREASE
ACROSS SOUTHERN COUNTIES TOWARD SUNRISE WITH GUSTS OF UP TO 30
MPH BEING POSSIBLE. ACROSS NORTHERN COUNTIES OF THE MID STATE...LOOK
FOR WINDS TO INCREASE INTO THE 10 TO 20 MPH RANGE WITH A FEW
GUSTS TO 25 MPH...PARTICULARLY OVER NORTHWESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
SECTIONS.
