THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE MAIN EFFECTS FROM HURRICANE DENNIS WILL BEGIN TO BE FELT
IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON MONDAY. AFTER MAKING LANDFALL SOMETIME LATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON...THE STORM IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE A NORTHWEST
MOVEMENT AND WEAKEN CONSIDERABLY...BY THE TIME IT REACHES FAR WEST
TENNESSEE MONDAY NIGHT.

IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...THE STRONGEST WINDS AND HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL
LIKELY OCCUR OVER WEST AND SOUTHWEST PORTIONS MONDAY AND MONDAY
NIGHT. SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN MAY OCCUR...ALONG WITH WINDS POSSIBLY
GUSTING UP TO 45 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS AND WIND GUSTS WILL BE MUCH
LESS OVER EAST PORTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THIS COULD CHANGE IF THE
PATH OF THE STORM CHANGES.

ACTIVATION OF SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGERS MAY BE NECESSARY MONDAY
AND MONDAY NIGHT.
