.NOW...
A SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHERN CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
TONIGHT. AN AREA OF LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVERNIGHT...AND
PRODUCE AVERAGE ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE INCH...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS. THE ADVISORY INCLUDES AREAS AROUND CROSSVILLE...
COOKEVILLE...SPARTA...AND JAMESTOWN. SOME ROADS WILL BECOME
SLICK...ESPECIALLY ALONG BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. TEMPERATURES
ARE ALREADY AT THE FREEZING MARK. THEREFORE...ANY PRECIPITATION
THAT FALLS WILL STICK...AND CREATE POTENTIAL TRAVEL PROBLEMS.

THROUGH 930 PM...YOU CAN EXPECT SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS
TO OCCUR IN AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF I 65. THE PRECIPITATION
MAY FALL AS RAIN ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHERN AREAS...NEAR THE
ALABAMA BORDER...WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM 35 TO 40
DEGREES. MEANWHILE...FURTHER NORTH...TOWARD COLUMBIA...
CHAPEL HILL...NASHVILLE AND THE KENTUCKY BORDER...TEMPERATURES
WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO ALLOW FOR SOME SPOTS TO SEE A DUSTING OF
SNOW.
