THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY FOR TODAY FOR ALL OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. A STRONG LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED OVER WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA IS BRINGING
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH OVER THE AREA TODAY.
GUSTS TO 30 TO 35 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED.

BOATERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION IF VENTURING OUT ON AREA LAKES
TODAY. THESE WINDS WILL MAKE OPEN WATERS ROUGH AND HAZARDOUS...AND
MAY RESULT IN HIGH WAVES WHICH COULD TIP OR SWAMP SMALLER CRAFT. FOR
YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY...AVOID THE OPEN WATERS AND STAY CLOSE TO SHORE
OR AROUND PROTECTED AREAS.
