...A FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FRIDAY MORNING
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN TENNESSEE

     WARREN...WHITE...EASTERN DE KALB...CUMBERLAND...PUTNAM...VAN
     BUREN...JACKSON...OVERTON...FENTRESS...PICKETT...EASTERN COFFEE
     AND GRUNDY

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS

     ALGOOD...BAXTER...BYRDSTOWN...COOKEVILLE...CROSSVILLE...
     GRUETLI-LAAGER...JAMESTOWN...LAKE TANSI...LIVINGSTON...
     MCMINNVILLE...MONTEREY...SPARTA...SPENCER AND TRACY CITY

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAINFALL FROM TROPICAL DEPRESSION IVAN IN AND NEAR THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU. THUS FAR...RAINFALL OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES HAS OCCURRED. AN
ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN AND NEAR THE
WARNING AREA UNTIL 10 AM FRIDAY.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL CONTRIBUTE TO MORE FLOODING OF SMALL
STREAMS...ROADWAYS...URBAN AND LOW AREAS. FLOODING HAS ALREADY BEEN A
PROBLEM IN AREAS FROM SMITHVILLE TO JAMESTOWN...WHERE UP TO FOUR
INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY.
MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. TURN AROUND! DON'T DROWN! VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER
SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
