THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER EASTERN
ARKANSAS LATE THIS MORNING. SOME INTENSIFICATION OF THE LINE IS
LIKELY AS IT MOVES EAST INTO WEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY MID AFTERNOON
...AND INTO CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE BY LATE AFTERNOON. A
FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH THE MAIN
SEVERE WEATHER THREATS FROM DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL.

AS THE AIR MASS BEGINS STABILIZING SOME DURING THE EVENING...
WEAKENING OF THE STORMS IS EXPECTED AS THE LINE MOVES INTO THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AREA. THEREFORE THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IN THIS
AREA WILL BE MINIMAL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGERS MAY BE NECESSARY
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING IN WEST AND CENTRAL SECTIONS
OF THE MID STATE.
