A BROAD AREA OF SHOWERS WILL BEGIN AFFECTING AREAS ALONG THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU BY 900 PM. THE ACTIVE WEATHER WILL CONTINUE MOVING
NORTHEASTWARD AROUND 35 MILES AN HOUR. AT 801 PM, THE SHOWERS HAD
MOVED EAST OF THE NASHVILLE METRO AREA, AND WILL PUSH ACROSS AREAS
EAST OF THE CITY DURING THE EVENING. YOU CAN EXPECT OCCASIONALLY
GUSTY WINDS WITH THESE SHOWERS. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL WILL LAST
AROUND AN HOUR IN MOST PLACES. DOPPLER RADAR IS INDICATING AVERAGE
HOURLY RAINFALL RATES OF BETWEEN A TENTH AND ONE HALF INCH.
