...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE DUCK RIVER...

AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN TENNESSEE: BEDFORD...MARSHALL.

DUCK RIVER NEAR SHELBYVILLE...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         25.0 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        24.8 FEET AND RISING SLOWLY AT 10 PM FRIDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:      22.5 FT AROUND 1 AM SATURDAY MORNING THEN FORECAST
                         TO RECEDE TO NEAR 6.0 FT WEDNESDAY EVENING.
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE NONFLOOD FLOODING.


AT 25.0 FT...FLOODING OCCURS IN LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE DUCK RIVER
THROUGHOUT THE SHELBYVILLE AREA.. THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF
25.0 FEET WHICH OCCURRED JAN 8 1998.


PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
MONITOR WATER LEVELS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
