SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING EAST OF A LINE FROM
PORTLAND...MOUNT JULIET...EAGLEVILLE...AND WARTRACE. AREAS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WERE EMBEDDED IN THESE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE ONE HALF TO ONE INCH PER HOUR
IN THE HEAVIER SHOWERS. MOTORISTS SHOULD LOOK FOR PONDING OF WATER ON
ROAD WAYS AND SLOW DOWN TO AVOID HYDROPLANING.

THE AREA OF RAIN WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH.
