...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR PICKETT COUNTY UNTIL 615 PM
CDT...

CITIES AFFECTED THROUGH 615 PM CDT INCLUDE...
BYRDSTOWN AND SURROUNDING LOCATIONS.

AS THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS THE COUNTY...RADAR ESTIMATED BETWEEN 2
AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR OVER THE OBEY RIVER
BASIN IN THE WESTERN PORTION OF PICKETT COUNTY. AREAS NEAR
BLOOMINGTON...WEST OF HIGHWAY 111 SHOULD MONITOR SMALL CREEKS AND
STREAMS AND LOW SPOTS FOR FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OF WATER TO FLOAT A VEHICLE.
