.A STRONG COLD FRONT LIES ACROSS THE AREA FROM EASTERN KENTUCKY
THROUGH CENTRAL PORTION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE TO EXTREME NORTHWEST
ALABAMA. THE COLD AIR BEHIND THIS FRONT COMBINED WITH A STRONG LOW
PRESSURE AREA MOVING NORTHWARD FROM ALABAMA AND MISSISSIPPI WILL
PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS ON EXPOSED SURFACES. THIS WILL
MAKE ROADWAYS HAZARDOUS FOR TRAVEL. AS THE FRONT PUSHES FURTHER EAST
PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO SNOW. ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW MAY REACH
2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE NORTHWEST...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES ELSEWHERE.

THIS WARNING INCLUDES CLARKSVILLE...DOVER...CAMDEN AND BUMPUS
MILLS. VERY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP OVER NORTHWEST
MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS EVENING. A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET
WILL PRODUCE ACCUMULATIONS OF 1/4 INCH TO 3/4 INCH OF ICE AND
SLEET...ESPECIALLY ON ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS BRIDGES AND TREES.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW BY LATE EVENING...WITH
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES.

SNOW AND ICE WILL MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS ACROSS NORTHWEST MIDDLE
