SOME WITH HEAVY RAIN...WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST AT 40
MPH ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST TWO THIRDS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
AMOUNTS COULD RANGE UP TO A HALF AN INCH PER HOUR. THE HEAVIEST RAIN
FOR THE SHORT TERM WILL BE OVER THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...WHERE FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT...AND OVER
THE FAR SOUTH.

A FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR ALL BUT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR FLOODING OF STREAMS...CREEKS AND OTHER FLOOD PRONE
AREAS. IF YOU ARE IN THE WATCH AREA...CHECK PREPAREDNESS
REQUIREMENTS...KEEP INFORMED...AND BE READY FOR ACTION IF FLOODING IS
OBSERVED OR IF A FLOOD WARNING IS ISSUED.
