...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A RIVER FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE TENNESSEE RIVER...


AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HARDIN.

TENNESSEE RIVER AT SAVANNAH...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         381.0 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        383.6 FEET AND RISING AT 6 AM WEDNESDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE  FLOODING.


AT THESE LEVELS...EXTENSIVE FLOODING OF RIVER BOTTOMLAND OCCURS AND SEVERAL
ACCESS ROADS ALONG THE RIVER NEAR SAVANNAH ARE CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD WATER. THIS
CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 382.4 FEET WHICH OCCURRED FEB 23 2003.


IF POSSIBLE...AVOID THE RIVER. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS AND
REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. TURN AROUND...DON'T
DROWN.
