...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A RIVER FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE HARPETH RIVER...


AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: CHEATHAM.

HARPETH RIVER NEAR KINGSTON SPRINGS...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         15.0 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        5.3 FEET AND FALLING AT 3 PM MONDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:       12.0 FT  TONIGHT THEN EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD
STAGE OF 15.0 FT  EARLY TOMORROW THEN FORECAST TO RISE TO NEAR 18.5 FT  TOMORROW
EARLY AFTERNOON THEN FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE OF 15.0 FT   WEDNESDAY
MORNING 12.0 FT  LATE  WEDNESDAY  MORNING THEN FORECAST TO RECEDE TO NEAR 4.0 FT
FRIDAY  EVENING THEN FORECAST TO FLUCTUATE NEAR 4.0 FT THRU   SATURDAY  MORNING.
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MODERATE FLOODING.


AT THESE LEVELS...FLOOD WATERS WILL OVERFLOW THE LEFT BANK OF THE RIVER AND
APPROACH PINNACLE HILL ROAD, AND E. KINGSTON SPRINGS ROAD. SEVERAL SECONDARY
ROADS NEAR THE RIVER BECOME IMPASSIBLE. THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST
OF 17.8 FEET WHICH OCCURRED NOV 30 2004.


IF POSSIBLE...AVOID THE RIVER. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS AND
REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. TURN AROUND...DON'T
DROWN.
