...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE BUFFALO RIVER...

AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: HUMPHREYS...PERRY.

BUFFALO RIVER NEAR LOBELVILLE...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         10 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        17.3 FEET AND FALLING AT 10 AM.
*   RIVER FORECAST:      FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL BUT REMAIN ABOVE
                         FLOOD STAGE THROUGH FRIDAY.
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      MODERATE FLOODING IS OCCURRING.
*   FLOOD CREST:         17.5 FEET EARLY THIS MORNING.

AT THESE LEVELS...MOST OF THE FLOOD PLAIN IS UNDER WATER. FLOOD WATER COVERS
A PORTION OF ROUTE 50, SOUTH OF LOBELVILLE AND SEVERAL RIVER ACCESS ROADS. THIS CREST
COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 16.9 FEET WHICH OCCURRED MAR 18 2002.

PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE BUFFALO RIVER AND THOSE WITH RIVER INTERESTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
MONITOR WATER LEVELS. IF YOU APPROACH A WATER COVERED ROAD, TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN.
